How this calculator works
Romarket's calculator applies published 6x-14x monthly-revenue assumptions by genre. These are heuristic starting points, not observed market averages, completed-sale comps, or appraisals. Version 1.0 multiplies monthly USD revenue by these starting inputs: roleplay games at 14x, tycoon games at 12x, simulator games at 10x, fighting games at 8x, obby games at 6x, and other genres at 8x. In advanced mode, the disclosed DAU/MAU, D7 retention, and session-length thresholds can raise the model multiple by up to 75%.

Monthly USD revenue times a Romarket genre assumption (6-14x monthly revenue), adjusted upward by disclosed engagement thresholds in advanced mode. These are heuristic model inputs, not observed market averages or completed-sale comps.
Why do genres have different multiples?
Genre is a coarse proxy in version 1.0. Romarket assigns higher starting assumptions to genres it expects to have more durable engagement, but the values are not statistically derived genre averages and may be wrong for an individual game.
Is this a guaranteed sale price?
